Willingly, lovingly, giving life selflessly
He lay in a sepulchure and rose from the dead
And if we only love Him the way he has loved us
The first resurrection will hold no dread

Son of the Living God, teaching the iron rod
Filling our souls with the gospel's true rays
Ought we not to tremble, repent of our sins
To live with our Father throughout all our days

His immortality, through His reality
A powerful promise, a generous gift
