If I had seen Him sitting underneath an olive tree,
Would I have smiled and said kind words and filled his life with glee?

Jesus needed many friends when He was living here,
But some of them left Him alone 'cause they were filled with fear,
But I would, I would, have been His truest friend,
I still can, still can, love Him to the end.
